After months and months of anticipation, the day has finally arrived. The release of Kilted Cowboys.

It is the second of the MacLeod Sisters series. It revolves around four American women who for whatever reason in life, end up in Scotland. Tartan Deadlines was about Rae, the eldest.

Kilted Cowboys is Martha’s story. Following the murder of her husband Tom on their ranch in Montana she decides to travel.  While in Scotland she comes upon a piece of land with an old manor house that cry out for her to buy. She does and is then confronted by her neighbor, Lord Edward MacDonald.

The two are like oil and water at first.

It’s a book full of twists and turns as Edward tries to help Martha find Tom’s killer, and where Tom’s “pot of gold” is stashed, if it even exists, taking them back to Montana. Edward himself is a man of mystery, as Martha finds out as she tries to get to know the man she finds herself falling in love with.

The story ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, but only in that it ends Kilted Cowboys and is the lead in to another book featuring Edward and Martha, but the real Heroine of that book will be Edward’s mother.
